Travel Vaccinations

We will require 6 weeks’ notice to provide any travel advice and vaccinations. Our priority is to care for patients who are unwell, who need to see the Nurse urgently and those who have Chronic Diseases such as diabetes, asthma, heart disease, etc. The demand for travel advice is increasing and it is becoming difficult to accommodate such appointments within our already very busy clinics. By limiting travel advice to patients who can give plenty of notice, it is much easier to plan for this treatment.

When calling to make an appointment, the Receptionist will ask where you are going, when you are going and for how long and will then book an appointment for you with the Nurse.

If your holiday or journey departure date is less than 6 weeks away, you will have to obtain your travel advice and vaccinations outside the Practice at a private Travel Clinic where all services will be chargeable.

Full travel advice and vaccination services are provided in Exeter by the following organisations and there may be other private providers available. We recommend that you telephone first as some services may be by appointment.
